Rooted in Produce
Sam’s Place Farm Market has had many transformations over the years. It originally started out as a roadside wagon in the 1990’s and grew to become a larger market under tents in the 2000’s. In 2005, it was closed down due to changing circumstances and busier farm operations. In 2012 the roadside wagon re-opened again with the next generation and in 2016 we upgraded to the current market location that we are at today.
Throughout all of this, we have remained committed to always providing the freshest and highest quality products we can. With growing a variety of our own fruits and vegetables, we have the advantage of being able to offer them as soon as they have been harvested. For many of the products we grow, we are able to provide them on the same day that they have been picked. We can ensure that we are getting the best of the best and that we can always have them available. Building strong relationships with various farms and companies has allowed us to provide a wide range of products and being able to provide them consistently. We have worked with many of the same people for years, getting to know one another on a personal level, but we are also open to trying new things as well and have meet many wonderful people along the way.
Our market location today has allowed us to expand and offer many products that we were not able to before. In our greenhouse section we are able to offer a large variety of plants, flowers, tropicals and home and garden décor. In the market section, we have been able to offer a larger selection of fresh produce as well as having a whole range of other products from baked goods, preserves and panty items, confectionary, dairy products, frozen meat and other speciality items. This location has also allowed us to put in a large parking lot, so no matter how you are travelling, we have lots of parking space available to make your trip more convenient. We have even added in a little playground area to keep the children busy while you complete your shopping!
